Taxi Base

Ba has a total of three taxi bases around the town from which the Taxi’s operate and provide transportation services to the general public. The largest Taxi Base in Ba is known as the Central Taxi Stand and can be found right in front of the  Latiniara Complex. Most taxi’s operating in Ba use this Taxi Base to provide transportation services. The other major taxi base can be found in front of the Market and is known as the New Market Taxi Base. This Taxi Base is mostly used by Market Vendors and customers of nearby shops in the Arcade Building. 

Ba has one more Taxi Base which is located in the town end side of Ba. This Taxi Base is situated in front of the famous sweets shop of Ba, Bikhabhai & Co Ltd. For a person to get a Taxi base in Ba, they have to apply for the base which goes to the Land Transport Authority. Once permit is obtained , the application then comes to Ba Town Council. For this Service, the base owner needs to pay $4.55 per week to the Council for utilizing the base.
