Food Containers

• For any imported containers which contains any food items (solid/ liquid) prior appointments are to be made with the Health Inspector for opening of the containers
• Biosecurity officers are to be present on site when Health Inspector opens the container
• The container seal to be intact on arrival of the Health Inspector on site
• All the relevant documents of importation to be ready prior to opening of the container.
• Exporting food items – prior appointments to be made before loading of the container
• All relevant documents to be ready on site on arrival of the Health Inspector
