The Ba Town Council has its own landfill site, which is located in Maururu. The Maururu Landfill site is located about 5 kilometers away from Ba Town in the Maururu area. The site is located in a valley surrounded by mountains with pine trees on it. There are no rivers or water source nearby the dump site which could affect the communities or contribute to water pollution. The site is located among spacey populated area.
