Ba Town Council’s service team marks the largest department of our Council which justifies our intention to provide the people of Ba, an excellent service. To better focus on providing attentive services, the broad service department is alienated into three teams;

Market Department

The market department is located near the Ba Market and takes responsibility of managing the market and the vendors that are allowed to operate in the market. This department also manages the public washroom amenity which is located near the Ba Bus Station. The market team also overseas the operations in the Fish Market to ensure health and safety regulations are maintained.

Operations Team

Our group of general workers are the keepers of our beautiful town. They are our front liners who ensure that our town remains neat and clean throughout. This team perform duties like garbage collection, drain cleaning, channel cleaning, street sweeping and we are grateful for their everyday contributions since our environment reflects the image of our council

Health & Enforcement Team

Ba Town Councils enforcement team monitors the Town of Ba for unlawful activities and investigates and responds to complaints by the public in regards to acts that are not abided by regulations. The team works in partnership with other key stakeholders such as LTA, Fiji Police Force, Ministry of Health, Department of Environment and other government departments and at times with NGO’s and Ba Chamber of Commerce to resolve issues and provide the best solutions to the arising problems or complaints in Ba.
