Garbage Collection Schedule

 Please Note:

• Residents are required to use proper garbage pans/bins with tight fitting lids for effective and efficient discharge of the garbage.
• The collection will include garbage such as kitchen waste and any other household waste (small quantity). This service does not include trees and shrubs/grass, white goods, furniture’s, tree branches, bulky waste such as soil and construction materials and any other commercial or industrial waste.
• All garbage is to be placed at the allocated approved site on the roadside before 7.00 am for residential and before 8.00 am in industrial/commercial areas on the day of collection.
• The collection truck will go through the area ONCE ONLY on the allocated days. Refrain from placing garbage on any other days or after the garbage truck has already serviced and left your area.
• Take Notice that those residents who deposit or discharge any refuse/garbage or any litter in any public place including lanes, road, reserves, parks, drains and taking out garbage on non-garbage collection days or after collection truck have collected the garbage will be given “On-Spot” fine of $40.00 as per the provisions of Litter Act 2008.
